Waterborne Paint for Coating Over Oil and Rust

Jiangmen Paint has launched a water-based enamel product capable of coating over oil and rust. It is composed of water-based modified resins, water-based additives, pigments, and water. Using water as a viscosity regulator, it differs from traditional solvent-based coatings in terms of composition and better meets environmental protection and safety requirements.

Forced drying: After flash drying at room temperature for (10-15)min, bake at (60-70)℃ for (20-30)min

5.Construction Precautions

-The construction viscosity of the coating should be controlled to prevent sagging and orange peel during construction. Airless spraying can be applied directly without thinning, and air spraying can add 0-5% water.

-The coating should be fully stirred evenly after opening the can. The residual paint at the bottom of the can can be washed with water and added to the paint mixing tank to prevent color difference caused by pigment settling.

-After the coating is prepared and thinned, it needs to be filtered with 80-150 mesh copper mesh before use. After taking the paint for use, please cover the bucket lid in time to prevent surface skinning. If dry skin affects use, it can be filtered with a 100-mesh filter before use.

-Coating tools: During construction, special coating tools should be used and must not be mixed with tools for other paints. After use, clean them with tap water for repeated use.

-Suitable construction environment: Temperature ≥10℃, relative humidity ≤80%, avoiding dust. When painting at a temperature below 10℃ or with an environmental humidity greater than 85%, the drying time of the film will be prolonged.

-The painted film should avoid rain or water washing within 24 hours after painting.
